When you create an account, we collect your email address and password. We also collect information about your app usage, including stories you listen to, your listening history, category preferences, and streak data. This information is stored securely in our database.

We use your information to:
- Provide and maintain the Greatest Comebacks Daily service
- Deliver your daily story and manage your listening history
- Track your streak and personalize your experience
- Process subscription payments through Apple's App Store
- Send you notifications about new stories (if enabled)
- Respond to your support requests
3. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on secure servers provided by Supabase. We use industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit and at rest, row-level security policies, and secure authentication protocols. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Subscription and Payment Data
All subscription payments are processed through Apple's App Store. We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment card information. Apple manages all billing, receipts, and subscription management. Please refer to Apple's privacy policy for information about how they handle payment data.
5. Push Notifications
With your permission, we may send push notifications to remind you about your daily story. You can enable or disable notifications at any time through your device settings or within the app.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from the Profile tab in the app. When you delete your account, all your personal data, listening history, and preferences are permanently removed from our servers.
7. Children's Privacy
Greatest Comebacks Daily is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the “Last updated” date.
